My restaurant review of Jumbars….
I recently went to Jumba’s for my brother-in-law’s 20th birthday breakfast. Jumbars is a cool little local restaurant on the North side of Bethlehem.
I was concerned that there would be nothing to eat, so originally I convinced myself of just having coffee and eating prior. My wife assured me that of all places Jumbars would be the place to go. They are known for their fresh made breads, spreads and made to order meals.
So, I ordered my coffee and began to look over the menu. I settled on oatmeal and fresh fruit, which I thought was a great start to the day. The waitress (High School friend) recognized me on Bethlehem’s Vegfest Facebook page and steered me towards the Tofu Scramble. She told me it was 100% vegan and highly recommended it!!
Much to my delight the Tofu Scramble did not disappoint! It had tofu, zucchini, mushrooms, tomatoes, caramelized onions and spinach served with toast and potatoes. This meal was absolutely fabulous and I would highly recommend it to all including non-vegans!!
